Jain Center Group

JSOC committee has formed Jain Center Group (JCG) dedicated to analyze the feasibility of having Jain Temple in Colorado. Committee invited interested Samaj Members based on the survey held in late 2020.

Temple Group was formed on 16th January, 2021 with the objective of learning from the experience of various other Jain Sanghs in the the USA. This group, per defined objectives, reached out to many Jain Sanghs in the USA, discussed with Hindu Temple, financial institutions, visited properties and collected valuable inputs. Temple group collected information by various undertakings as described below:

• Had several meetings with different Jain Sanghs in the USA
• Visited a Church at Lakewood that was available for sale
• Met with realtors and financial institutions
• Held a discussion with Hindu temple committee
• Reached out to Vietnamese Buddhist Congregation of Colorado for purchase option

At the moment, JCG is intensively working to build a Temple in Denver Metro area.
