We are raising funds for our Jain Center!

10/03/2023: Jai Jinendra!

As you all may be aware that JCG (JSOC Center Group) is relentlessly working towards our goal to purchase a land/property for our Jain Center. JCG thinks few of these can be a good fit for our requirement in the order of preferences:

    a. Huge 10.7 acres lot and No HOA
    d. Near to I25, premium location
    c. Existing ~2400sft shed can be used as temple hall
    d. Permit by right for religious purpose. No zoning approval needed.
    Cons:
    a. Priced on the higher side and can be out of our budget
    b. Some unused land has gulch and water way (may be up to 2 acres
    c. Too much junk on the property, may need more than $100k to cleanup
    d. Needs to repurpose the house if we plan to use for kitchen and Pathshala purpose.

    Pros:
    a. Big ~4.7 acres lot and No HOA
    b. Nice built house can used for the day 1 for Kitchen and Pathshala
    c. Small ~640sft shed can be used for temple hall but later needs to be extended.
    d. All flat land for easy future constructions
    e. Cheaper so within our expected budget.
    f. Permit by right for religious purpose. No zoning approval needed.
    Cons:
    a. Remote location with slow speed road.
    b. Small shed needs to be expanded for usage

    Pros:
    a. Prime Location – Very near to 470 and close proximity to Highlands Ranch
    b. Big garage which can be used as temple hall.

Cons:
a. Commercial property so zoning conversion required
b. Offices built in 1000sqt and rest is used as garage.
c. Too much modifications needed.
d. Seems costly for the value provided.
e. No future expansion possibilities.

While JCG & Committee is still working on logistics for offer, documentation, fund management and legalities, We seek Samaj’s opinion on the above mentioned 3 properties or any other suggestions. Please vote for the below poll.

5/26/2022: Jai Jinendra. JSOC Committee put an offer on the property and is on hold for an update from seller. Meanwhile JCG (Jain Center Group) is working tirelessly to arrange for the documentation and fund/loan approvals.
